at the request of US Tiger I will post some ideas to build some homemade treasure hunting and prospecting equipment.
the underwater viewer is very easy. all you need is a 4" to 6" piece of PVC pipe about 12" long, or a 5 gallon bucket a round piece of plexiglas (Clear Acrylic) to match your tube or bucket and some waterproof glue or epoxy. it works like a scuba mask and the water magnifies everything underwater.

Thanx TBD for the kool viewer plans! I just love stuff that's easy to do, very cost effective and will make my life a whole lot easier/better for the little effort expended. Wink
