Can my B2 be modded for better performance?

I see online that pentechnic can do a Laser Scout  Upgrade (B-o-o-s-t)
that offers a boost and audio frequency upgrade for the Scout
The boost will increase depth by up to 2 inches in air tests.
The frequency change will give a much sharper and clearer response to small targets.

My question is could such a mod be performed on my laser b2?  Does anyone on here have any ideas. Thankyou for your help in advance.   HH  Lee

Hi Eugene, i am not sure of the price of the mod they do, you have to phone and ask for price! I have emailed them asking if it can be done so ill keep ya posted. Have spoken to somone else and got advise and i think that i will probably just get a new larger spider search coil and have the gb adjusted accordingly if needed. My B2s operating frequency is 12khz. I got my machine second hand and see that it should have the wide scan 7inch search coil but looks like mine has been changed to an 8" polo coil. Is this coil any better than the standard 7" wide scan version? Thanks. HH  Lee
