Love my long handled sand scoop.
Saves my bad knees, no bending over are stooping.   Smiley
Problem was it kept turning my hand dark gray.
Would take cleanser to remove the aluminum color.
So I finally removed all the nicks with a file.
Then wet sanded it till smooth.

Used white epoxy paint to coat it.
Took my letter stamps and put my name and cell # on it.     Teach

Now my hand stays clean and my shirt also, where I throw it over my shoulder.
Plus it stays cooler to the touch.
Can be returned if lost.   Welcome

That worked good!. Also.....If you have any metal finishing companies around you could get it anodized to any color.

I made a sand scoop from a stainless cooking pot from Goodwill. Just drilled holes and attached 1.5 in hardwood dowel to the bottom with C clamps. Have not had a chance to try it on a beach. Looks like it will work well.

Sorry, I should have said I fastened the dowel with U bolts not C clamps. Senior moment.
