Hello Everyone . Here is a new and very important topic . All the Thunting project builders can participate . If any Thunting.com member has PDF files or charts on substitution numbers of transistors , diodes and Integrated circuits , you are more than welcome to post them here !!
If we build a small reference library of cross references/substitutions , it will help many to complete their Metal Detector projects much faster . I have a few files buried somewhere , but finding them may take a while  ,  so I hope eventually we can build a library of information .

Hello , Here is an example of what I wanted to post under this topic . Build a library of files or folders that have component information , that can be referenced or downloaded . Posting website links are fine , but to have a "Thunting.com electronic reference area" is much better !! Here is a capacitor file thats good to have ........If anyone has a Transistor / I.C. Substitution / Cross reference also diodes , inductors , transformers in PDF or zip format , please post it right here for all the Thunting project builders !!! Hello Everyone . I stumbled across this pdf file for IC substitution . Its ok , but I have seen much better references over the years . If anyone would like to add a IC cross Reference / substitution file your welcome to post it here . Also information files on inductors / chokes that are sometimes hard to find , like old discontinued toko coils !!!.....................Regards........Eugene

EUGENE, i started to build the delta pulse/xr71 pi now, i will post the result, i think its the 1st pi detector built in two pcb glue together to build double sided pcb. i used mylar capacitors coz this type is the only available in my place..very poor place...

Hello ram. That is good news . Looking forward to hearing/reading about the results . The PI circuit on two boards should work o.k. , I hope the two board spacing does not create any noise or oscillations between the pcb traces. .........Regards.........Eugene

Please, what I want to see is a japanese-american transistor cross reference manual.  Most of our transistors here are japanese while most of the electronic projects I find are either american or european. Hello

Hello Jun Flores. If you research the internet you will find a lot of information on the 2sa,2sb series which are all PNP type transistors and the 2SC , 2SD series which are all NPN types . To download or copy any files on this Forum you must first have 15 posts . I attached a document that has a bunch of Transistor substitutes which include Japenese , European and American types . Please , always verify with NTE cross reference and or do a google search before making any substitution !!!! The list I composed from the internet may have errors , so your text document you have downloaded from us can be corrected on your pc !! Another option is let us know what project you are building from our Forum and when we have time we can post the "transistor" part numbers you need .
