Hi All,

I bought a CZ-20 on Ebay last year with a stuck pinpoint switch. I took the unit apart , but see no way to get it unstuck as the switch seems like a sealed unit. I disconnected the switch so that I could at least use the unit. Also some of the resisters need replacing and are strange values that can not be picked up through Mouser, DigiKey, etc. Can I get these parts from Fisher direct? Are they good the deal with?

Thanks,

MTLHntr

Hello . If Fisher [AKA-Bounty Hunter-Teknetics] does not help you then here are 3 names to Google search 1. Ohmite  2. Dale/Vishay 3. RCD components .
Allied electronics carries all 3 brands of precision resistors I just listed .
The switch should not be hard to locate if you have exact measurements [metric] . DPDT or SPST ?
Others are welcome to comment !!

Regards.........Eugene

Eugene,

Thanks for the info. The pinpoint switch is not your average run of the mill unit. It is encased in a plexiglass style housing and cannot be easily removed. My only other option is to install a second switch somewhere else on the case. I could also buy the switch assembly from Fisher, but I do not know if they would still have it or if it would even be worth the cost. I will contact Fisher and see about buying the few precision resistors from them. These are definately needed.

Thanks,

MtlHntr
