Hi there !

There's another procedure for reseting the EXplorer when there are no more solutions or when the Factory Reset doesn't works....:

1.- Open the Battery cover
2.- Push the On button and WHILE THE UNIT ITS STARTING PULL OUT THE  BATTERY.
This will perform a FULL FACTORY RESET not a semi-reset which is the same as far as i know to going back to basic settings.

That worked for me.
