My apologies Gary had sandwiched the coil in  corrugated plastic sheet, it did arrive in the same shipment. I must say the work on the coil is a work of art. Very nicely done.

I mentioned in an earlier post problems I"m experiencing with Gary PI pc boards in where the copper is detaching from the board during the soldering operation.

After scanning the board allowing magnification can see where the problem is, Gary is using a low speed drill and the bit is burring the copper on entry perhaps even raising the copper from the board.

I have spoke with Gary on the problem of copper coming loose from the boards, he said my soldering heat was to high. He has agreed to send a replacement board but suspect the problem remains with the drilling procedure.

Oops! Looks like we all just got caught out gossiping about this person's dad.

I'm so ashamed.

Well, not really, but I thought I'd make the child smile. Welcome to the forums. Now get your dad to join. Go on. What are you waiting for. We'll be waiting patiently.

I'm not sure about being called a child at the age of 33. However I will let my dad know about the site and the thread.   Smiley

At my age, you are still a child. Be happy. One day you'll be old.
