Has anyone had trouble with the High frequency double D 10 1/2" coil breaking where it is put onto the rod ?

My Partner and I have both had our coils break at this location and when we started looking at other guys coils like this, they too are cracked and ready to break.

I think Minelab has a problem with this coil and at $175, I think we need some help.

If others are having this problem, get back with me and hopefully we can get this problem resolved!!

So you think they will replace a coil that is a couple of years old.  I guess my point is, there is a problem with this coil..  I just thought some others on this forum might have had the same problem.  I mean they only cost $175, for me the coil should have lasted longer than that.

If you didn't do anything to snap it, I would at least try.   Dang, that's alot of money to me. Shocked

Minelab is a sponsor of this forum. You should contact them and inquire about their policy on those coils.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
