hi Wink

the irf840 is hot Exhausted in the schematic the R5 is 2.2K shall i change it to 680ohm? and the R6 which is 680 ohm shall i change it to 1k?

                   This is normal because it passes a large current range of 2 to 4 amp, because the wire diameter used a fairly large, use of resistant 3.3/1 or 2 w.

1x1cm 0.5mm  8LAYER   4M   cat5.
1x1m then wind 17 turns. Use wire with 1mm

 What are the results obtained ?

  total  resistance= 6ohm =coil + series resistor 
  4.7/5w OK
