Go Up Go Down

Hi
After reading many hours on this project it seems there not much good with small finds, can you give me feedback on this please, also has anyone here built the pulse3 and give me comparisons between the two.
Will build one of them but cant deside which one, the pulse 3 does have some sort of discrimination which is what is needed.

Warm regards

This detector is meant for deep large objects (like a tank) but for small objects go for a VLF and you will have all the discrimination that you will need

Good luck
Xavier

Go Up Go Down

Hi Xavier
Thanks for the reply, ive built a few VLF machines my latest ones been the TGSL, built two of those,IGSL half built although did cheat on that one and bought a PCB instead of making one.  first one components out the bag, the second hand picked/checked for bang on tolerence to get optium performance out of the project.
Never built a PI so fancy doing one, anyways cutting along story short didnt want to find a tank or a bus Mad so since posting here ive opted for the mini pulse 3, which is based around the ATmeg8 chip running with a 16x2 LCD, managed to find some hex files for it one of which is tuned for gold, parts are ordered once up and going if any good will post complete project from start to finish.

Regards

If you don't mind sending me the file on it I'd appreciate it . I've heard quite a bit about it but never got round to doing any research on it but it does sound like a fun project.

All the best
Xavier

Xavier
here are all the mini pulse projects
you do need java turned on to see the page
which is a bit of a pain to load
download any files from the direct page not through page translator

Go Up Go Down

Hi,

Hi Everyone,

I made my DP2 as per the  instructions of a turkish blog

You are not allowed to view links.

http://felezyab.persianblog.ir
.  I have done the assembly of components as in the Component placement diagram.  But my DP does not make any sound or anything.  When I connected it for the first time to the battery the IRF740 (in fact i used IRF840) smoked. Then I replaced it with a new one.  But now there is no response at all from the circuit board.

Probably I burnt something else also along with the IRF840, but with my poor electronics knowledge I am not able to figure out what else would have been burnt.

Another problem i have on my machine is when connected to battery both LED's will glow in fact red is more brighter.... what went wrong here???

Your kind help is much appreciated.

This was the reply from Japanese on my above question.  I don't know why I am not seeing it in this thread
javascript:void(0);

Hi  viswanathmarachi
For the  heated IRF 840 change  UA  556 , adj  PR1 to low -  ---- FOR two led light ,,, check each of the T10,VD15,,,,,,,,,,  IN GENERAL  Check all  T ,VD

best time
j.

I am checking on what Japanese has suggested me.  I dont have any clue on why I am not getting any sound on my machine.  Please throw some light on my problem.
