Go Up Go Down

Loot.its a documentary.its about a mordern day treasure hunter named Lance who works with two world war vets trying to figure out where they buried treasure some 60 years ago.one gentleman was Darrell who as a young man of 18 in germany at the end of the war.him and a buddy grabbed pockets full of jewelry from a jeweler during the mayhem and stashed it in an attic of a house near where they were camped.they actually went back to try and find the house, while asking old timers near the villages if they remembered the soldiers.they ran across a former SS soldier who was on the run from the americans.they SS guy remembered sneaking by the camp and told Darrell he remembered the soldiers singing american songs, when Darrell started singing Oklahoma the SS guy chimed right in with the song, they had found the area.the other story deals with the Philippines, his name was Andy.Andy had buried a stash of swords and jewlery also had bought from a local and buried it hoping to come back one day and drew a map....unfortunatly tho he was a horder, they searched threw his trailer for close to a year searching, never finding it yet finding envelopes full of thousands in cash he forgot about, including a safe he forgot the combination to and Lance does go back to the Philippines even tho he didn't have the map.theres no bullwhips, car chases or crystall skulls, just a story about a guy whos a little like all of us and the pain of chasing something he knows is there just not where...........don't want to spoil the end for anybody who wants to watch it but from a guy who normally does'nt watch anything that does'nt involve aliens, car crashes,or comedies this was a great watch.its showing on HBO and avaliable on dvd in english and german
