In 1987, I was working at a computer factory in Austin, TX.  I went to the break-room and bought a Coke.  Remember, this was when sodas were still cheap.  All my change came back in "V" nickels.  I kept buying Cokes and kept getting "V" nickels. After about 20 sodas, I stopped getting old money. It came out to be just short of 2 rolls of nickels and all my friends got free Cokes. It was a good day.
