Wow! Awesome!!! I have Never found even ONE 1916-D!Very few ever have...and you found TWO!!! Great Job! Great You are one Luck guy! I Did find a 1914-D Lincoln once though...but that's no 1916-D Merc.! But! I did know a guy that DID find a 1916-D once...but not with a metal detector. He got it out of the pop machine in front of the old blacksmith shop that used to be up town. That was back in the early 60's when a Coke was only a dime. Bet he was glad he didn't have correct change! Grin

Those Mercs sure are pretty,one of the nicest coins ever made.Since I got the dfx last summer,I still have not found a silver coin,
lots of clad,though.I am saving it to see how long it takes me to pay for the dfx.
