I will start off by saying that I did not find this button. My brother did. However, since he does not use a computer I am posting it for him. Also, I couldn't be happier if I had found it.
 There is a long story behind this item but I will give you the Reader's Digest version.
 My brother found an M E B button in Maryland about twenty years ago. He was never able to identify it until just recently. A very knowledgeable man IDed the button as being from the "Maryland Extraordinary Battalion". This group was formed in 1780 and sent south to join with the 2nd Maryland Regiment.
 As of now, there are only two known specimens. Oddly, they both came to light within two weeks of each other.
 The other is in Morristown, NJ. That is where the M E B was outfitted.
 While the button itself is not a thing of beauty it is historically significant.
 In case Y'all can't tell, I am bragging on my brother big time!
