These are just a couple of Indian pictographs that I was able to take pictures of in Southern Utah near the Fremont Indian State Park....there were a ton of them everywhere, but I wasn't able to zoom in enough, and these were unfortunately the best ones.....i need a better lense Smiley

Oh man, those pics have me missing the mountains! I loved it when I was stationed in El Paso and New Mexico! Wish I would have taken up the hobby back then! Thanks for sharing TJ!

hardluck, you buy yourself  a ticket, and come here.....and I promise to not disappoint.  That's why I love where I live so much.....you will accidentally run into some of the most historical sites in the country.  you can drive in any direction and make stop after stop, after stop checking out all of the history that is here.  When I left Bryce canyon, it took me about five hours to go about a hundred miles or so....simply because there is so much to see, that you literally drive and stop, drive and stop, drive and stop and so on and so.....just because there is too much to see.  I am going back down to that same are again, just to see the places i accidentally passed up or didn't have time to stop at.  If ever you are in the area, please let me know, and I would be more than happy to show you around.

Yes, there are a lot of historical sites around here.. where the golden spike was placed (Promotory), and other places. Not far from where I live up this one little side street was a historical land mark indicating that it was one of the paths of the 'Mormon Pioneer Trail" which has a lot of history behind it as well. Many of them didn't stop here in Utah, many of them moved out to San Bernadino, CA too (My mom used to work at the county museum there) and when I went out there to visit, she showed me the big Mormon exhibit they had setup there. Pretty interesting.

Hello Toleary34

Thank you kindly, I might just take you up on that one day.

There is the tourist spots and then there the spots the locals know that are not on the tourist maps. I have been lucky enough to have been shown amazing places over the years.

For me That is what makes traveling so amazing.

Once again thanks for the interesting posts.

Hardluck.
