Henry, a gentleman from Texas, has struck two finds of a lifetime in the same general location. This guy is HOT! This is his most recent.
This is one of the most valuable and rare points you can find. If you are fortunate to find one.
I congratulated to old fart and told him to get out there and find another.

Seldom,
Considering you live on the gulf if you would like to I could get you in touch with a couple of people I know down there including Henry that regularly find some extrodinary stuff including some of the mega fauna ice age stuff.
The points comming out of the coastal Low tide area to the East of Houston is some of nicest artifacts I have seen found in Texas.
Henry has found two Scottys that are now two of the best ever found in Texas, 1 last year and one this year. With the way he is going it is only a matter of time he will find another.
The other area I am referring to is in the Rockport area. Lot's of mega fauna stuff.
Keep it in mind you may want to add some of these things to your collection.
BTW: You would have to get your feet wet. Take note the point is in situ in water.

I have not been to the Rockport area but have hunted McFadden for years had 2 Clovis points from there I sold some years ago and lots of Pleistocene stuff. Because of my knees have stayed close to home the last two years but that's getting ready to change. I have been working part of the Beaumont Formation that Ike exposed finding some mammal teeth and bone frags Late Pleistocene but no worked flint.
I would not mind touching base with them maybe exchange some site info.  Have you seen some of steve 71 stuff that comes from Rockpost I think. Wish I still had the Clovis points could trade him for a load of mammoth fossils.

Seldom, the pictures of the bone material in my second post is some of the material Steve71 is comming out with. These are about a years worth of pickin. I asked if his wife objects and boy did I get  reply!!!
You bet she does. It appears that his wife has the same problem with him that mine does with me. We just can't keep everything we find.
Yes McFaddin beach area has produced a lot of ancient points, for many years.
Sorry to hear about your knees. I too have a problem with mine. If it ain't close I don't go.
Years ago I was hittin an area near Port Aransas that produced a near intact Rhino"someone else's find". Lots of mega fauna stuff but when the gentleman passed away his relatives would not allow me back in there. They said I was taking advantage of him. I was only taking advantage of an opportunity. Oh well a good thing can't last forever.

Take care and if you would join into Texas Caches web site you would find out that you have a lot more in common with a lot of these people than you know. It is a good site and the people try to keep it clean. Lots of Texas stuff and some exotic from time to time.

Again here is Henry's other "1st" Nice Scotty "Find of a lifetime indeed"

Everything is on a normal plane again @ Texas Cache, Pat put an end to the bickering and the threats.
Some of the members went elsewhere and some may say good riddance.
All I can say is I stayed out of the circle of that.
When fit hits the shan I go to THunting and get my treasure fix.   Grin
