Hey, fellow TH'rs - just found this site, and thought I'd check it out. I'm from Vermont (USA), been in the hobby for just under 30 years, love coin hunting but do some water and relic hunting too. I've used lots of White's, Fishers, and most of the Minelabs. Can't wait to see what's coming down the road - detectors have changed a lot since I got started!

Excaldiver, sorry, no, I've never seen the Excal CD. I've used the Excal (both 800 and 1000) for about 10 years, and have made quite a few good finds with it. I've found it's pretty easy to use, but tends to get heavy and has quite a bit of water resistance. Most of my water hunting has been fresh water, but it works well in both fresh and salt water.
