getting back into the detector game again and am looking thru all the new detectors on the market today. im sure i will be asking for help and opinions as i make my new purchase.

talked to a few vendors and have narrowed it down to ..whites/minelab/garrett. the whites classic I.D seems to be a frontrunner or the spectrum series. if anyone has one of these i would be interested.

I use a minelab safari for my main detecting but still hang onto my whites classic sl as backup. Its a great switch on and go detector which is easy for learning newbies, they can be finding stuff with it from the off. Which tends to get them hooked, will hang onto mine till it die's a death. Grin
