Have been looking at the ace 350 and am impressed, would go for that over the 250. will look into the Whites MXT. I will certainly have questions if thats OK?

Derrol, questions are always OK but do yourself a favor and use the search feature at the top right corner of the forum pages. The answers may already be posted here.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hello derrolb.    Welcome to the forum.   Listen to GD (and by the way, I wouldn't recommend getting too dependent on the junk elimination features of modern detectors---that's a good way to leave the best stuff behind).

BA

by the way, welcome to you, too, tteddie----why don't you start your own introductory posts so the members can give you a proper welcome also?

Thanks GD and BA... That's whats this forum is all about, direction. I am in the stumble and fumble mode on the forum right now but that will change with time. Your inputs are well appreciated. I am researching metal detectors (wow) and I'll review previously posted questions that may answer my research on detectors.

Thanks again  Derrol
