Hi its playmoore. You were a Idea ll right about my introduction. I feel a little foolish. My apologies. It was arrogance to assume any one would give up their info and to try to recruit seasoned veterans as a newbie. I hope we can start fresh by me introducing myself.  My name is Michael. I'm 30 and enjoy long walks on te beach (especially if there is treasure just under my feet). I currently reside in Montana and am planning a summer treasure hunt. I look forward to learning all that I can from this group!

Arfieboy, I'm in missoula. Mount Emily is my old stomping grounds! I grew up in Hermiston Smiley This summer will be spent in the selway-bitterroot wilderness in Idaho however!

I guess you're just another hometown boy like me.  I live in La Grande and one of my best friends grew up in Hermiston.  I spent my time in Kalispell and that area back in 1965 and '66.  A while back!  Welcome, again, to this forum.  I've been detecting since the early '70's and I've learned a lot here in the last couple of years!  Jump on in with both feet!                   Detecting

I just inherited my grandfather's old Garrett gold finder. Can't figure out how to use the thing anyhow. Does anyone know about these?
