Hey all, have been away for quite a while doing lots of things, have been improving my kit gradually, but time is the hardest thing to find. Even harder to find than decent gold or treasure.

For those who remember me You would know I mostly prospect for gold but other things often turn up as well.

A couple of my new bits of kit are my sluice I built (WORKS GREAT) and some pumping equipment to make it into a power sluice (not allowed to use a dredge where I live, so it is the next best thing, unless no one is watching...lol)

have found a little bit of the yella stuff, but like I say time is hard to find to get where the elusive stuff we all want is.

Travis Hello

It will but I would not say it is a great gold detector!! I mostly use it to find metal in trees I mill up...lol

If you bury a half gram nugget it will beep it to about 10 cm no worries but it takes practice to tune it well. I have found more rubbish with it than anything. it would be a good detector for beach combers.

Travis that was my first real detector and still is a favorite of mine, how big is a 1/2 gram nugget compared to a matchhead???
