Hi everyone. I am a new member. I am from Sibuyan Island, Philippines where the Battle of Sibuyan Sea took place during WWII. Old folks said a lot of treasures were buried in our island by the retreating Japs. How do I start?

Hey Oxen welcome

Please use the word Japaneses not Japs. First off you need to find out if there really is treasure buried on the island. Stories from the old folks is a start but now you need to prove if they are facts are just legends.

Hello Oxen.    The more specific information you get, the easier it is to tell if it is fact or legend.

Hi I'm from Sibuyan Island, Romblon, Philippines. Famous Battle of Sibuyan Sea between Japanese warships and US plane occurred just very few miles north of this island during WWII. Old folks says many Japs burried treasures after this event. We have some possibles sites identified here, but no technology to verify. How can we start?

Oxen
