I live east in Norway ca 100 km south of Oslo. In Vestfold. If You hunting Coin in Norway you can keep all coin younger then 1650, Before that you have to deliver it to the state. Sometime you get it back .for other things you find, yo can keep it if its before 1600.

No  i dont search in water, sometimes on the beach, but most of time i search on field of old farms.
