I'm going to Rode Island this weekend, Can I detect on state beaches, town beaches?

Howdy...welcome from Arizona.   All I can tell you for sure is that section 4 of the Park and Management Area
Rules and Regulations for the state of Rhode Island says "Metal detectors and other location devices are restricted to designated areas
during specified time periods. ".   I would take that to mean you'll need to check with the main park office at each unit.
