Luck for me I am an EOD tech so I wont mess with the ordnance!  I hope to find something.  I figure I could atleast find some Chinese and Japenes stuf since both were very active in Korea in the past.  I will let you all know what I find.  If any of you have been here detecting and know some good spots let me know.

I wasn't into detecting when I was there. I was collecting though. Anything I could find to take back. There are a couple of Islands just off the port of Inchon that are favorite beach spots for GI's and Koreans. Don't remember the name.  We took a LST out to one and had a picnic USO scheduled it. You might try a detecting trip to one of these If you get to Womi-do. Only thing Beaches are all rocks. Keep us posted on your hunts.

I will keep you posted.  I want to go to Womi-do cause it was it was used as an OP for the Inchon amphibious assault.  Some GIs where positioned there as spoters/lookouts days prior to the assault.  I am an amature (at best) military history buff so I am excited to get out and see where these events we read about took place!  Lots of history in these parts and its cool to see it.  As soon as my house hold goods get here I am of to Inchon.  I hope the come soon cause I been waiting a month for them and I shiped them a month before I left.  Some fish is searching a shipreck right now with my detector! LOL
