Hey guys, I'm going to be camping at sampson this weekend, I was wondering if there was anywhere specific I should look to dig for old bottles. I know they use to burn trash pits there but I'm not sure where they were. Any information would be a huge help. Thanks!!!!!! Cheesy

During World War 2, it became the site of the Sampson Naval Training Station, then, during the Korean War it became the Sampson Air Force Base, again providing basic training. So I am betting its a so called historical site best leave your digging tools at home or that 5 dollar bottle may cost you 1000's of bucks.

That’s good advice. but wouldn’t be great if it was the other way around? Sad
