Go Up Go Down

Hello Everyone,  I am new here , I like prospecting and metal detecting. I have acquired a Tracker IV with a bad control box, the circuit board is fried, someone tried to fix it but made it worse with their soldering being very sloppy. I would like to find a circuit board or a complete control box the rest of the detector is pristine shape. If anyone has this part let me know and how much you want for it. I know sometimes these detectors show up on craigslist very reasonable so I keep looking. I want to have 3 or 4 detectors working and ready at all times for when I retire I can stay busy detecting.
I currently own my own Auto repair business but am struggling because of high unemployment and high gas prices, this keeps travel down therefore repairs are down. Some people wait till their vehicles just wont go till they call for an appointment then they want the cheapest repair possible. I oblige them and wish them the best, when they need an added repair they call again, and that's what counts to me, keeping my customers happy.
When money allows I also sell Fisher Metal Detectors, I have a gold BugII for prospecting and it is great.
I hope to retire within the next 5 years or at least semi retire and enjoy a lot of metal detecting and fishing in Florida, I currently live in Oregon. Happy detecting to all. Cheesy

Welcome from New Mexico. Don't be chucking out that board.  Most likely it can be fixed.

Every thing is still mounted together, the complete board needs replaced, I haved looked at it very carefully with a magnifying glass and it is generally screwed up. To ship it to Texas and back plus repairing it would be about $60.00, that is why I am looking for a parts unit or just a goog board. Thank you for messaging me.
