Greetings, I am new to metal detecting and just purchased a Whites Spectra 3vi, I am from Rochester NY and looking forward to hearing from anyone else in the upstate area. If anyone has pointers for someone just getting started any help would be appreciated.
I also travel often for work and look forward to taking my detector with me.

I will be in the outer banks at the end of August hunting

Looking forward to reading and learning from this website.
