Hi,

I'm with Mortar Theatre in Chicago and we're looking for a metal detector from the 1970s or 80s. It doesn't need to work. Can anyone help out?

Jacob

Hello Jacob,

if it just needs to be one from the 80s then eBay is probably your best  bet. You should be able to find one there for very little money ... also from the '70s ... or contact Carl Moreland at carl@whites.com ... maybe he can help you out.

Best wishes,

Christian

For a stage prop that doesn't need to work, a broom handle, tissue box and paper plate will do the trick.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
