Hi all, im new to metal detecting and have just bought a perfect condition whites eagle spectrum, i live in wa, australia can anyone tell me what the best program would be for coin hunting 1 dollar 2 dollar ect thanks Smiley

Hi GD thanks for the quick reply, just some questions for ya if you dont mind as this is my first detector, I paid $500 not knowing anything about them is that price right?? Its abit on the heavy side for me after a while my shoulder aches lol is there lighter detectors that are equivelent and price that I could have got?? And basically any info for beginers such as myself as i absolutely love this hobbie thanks??

Hi FIDZY.....welcome from Arizona.   GD pointed you in the correct direction when he said check out our White's board (which you can find by going to the home page and scrolling down).   And yes, there are lighter detectors (and heavier ones, believe it or not).  You may want to invest in a little device called the "Swingy Thingy" that helps distribute the load better---as long as you have it properly adjusted.   If it isn't adjusted correctly, it can be more frustrating than useful.
