I was just wondering if any one has tried modifying a vintage coinmaster by reducing its weight. I was thinking on finding one on ebay, taking off the handel and remounting it on a bent foararm pole and replacing part of the box with plastic. Any thoughts.

I am new, so hello.
I am a proud owner of a tesoro Cutlass II.

Edric

welcome to THunting.com, Edric.

just an idea, but you'd save a whole heck of lot of weight in the coinmaster if you could replace all those batteries with a couple of lighter more efficient batteries.   You might want to chat with some of the folks on our Tech Talk/Modifications, Do It Yourself & Repairs board.

Welcome aboard! Well, modifactions on the housing / stem should be possibly. Best ask for some idea in our Modifications / DITY board. I'm sure some members will come up with good ideas.
