I split your introduction off of the very old posting that you had it attached to. This way all of our members will be able to find you and welcome you in the manner you deserve.
In the meantime, you might want to go to the home page and scan down the list of boards until you find "Prospecting Talk". That's where you'll find most of the discussions on prospecting and prospecting equipment going on. Pay close attention to our Australian members...a lot of them have been using equipment and methods that you and I can adopt to the deserts of California and Arizona.
(By the way, if any of the other boards catch your eye, pop onto them --- you never know what you might find)
