Go Up Go Down

Hi Guys:
I go by the internet name of, "Cptbil & Bugs"!
I have been lucky enough to be able to go into TH'ing and Prospectin' Full Time!
I have been FT since about '94!
1994!
Not! 1894!, Although, I do own a Marlin 1894 carbine..in 256 Win Mag.)
But!
Back to the subject..
Usually, I, do my T'Hunting/prospecting in either, NM., Az., CA., NV.,CO.,Utah, or somewhere out in that general area/direction!
I have many yrs experience(s) in the field!
I started doing this as a teenager in Phx., and have been at it ever since!
Which gives me lots & lots, of, experience!
I have a good dependable 4x4 ..
1977 Jeep Wagoneer that pulls my small, 3x6 equpiment trailer!
Needless to say, I have plenty of TH'ing/prospecting gear...even to aerial capability !
A friend of mine has
her own plane that I like to & is used for some REALLY LOW !      Shocked   survey work down among the peaks and valleys!!
OR!
I can swing the finances to buy whatever that I might happen to need!
When out,
AND! I have been out for as long as ONE YEAR STRAIGHT!   Shocked
ALso
On these trips, I do lots of photo, exploring, historical research & Hiking around!
I always seem to be needing a partner,    Cheesy  as most people can only do this on the week ends or for a few vacation days!
TEXT
Let me know where you are located!
I hope to be out in the field in a couple more weeks ... 15th Sept., Huh?
I am, because of the price of gas, going to have to put a 4x2 w/od   conversion kit on my FT 4x4 Wagoneer before leaving!
Ifyou can't join up for a week or so...drop by for a GOOD   Grin   of coffee !
Bugs & I love to have company     Cheesy
BUT! Remember  "Code of the West" rule #3 ...
Cool  "Make Your Presence Known"/glow]  (before getting into camp!)  Tongue
Bugs gets trigger happy!

Welcome aboard! I sure would love to hear about some of your past and future treasure hunting trips!

Espeically the possibility of taking aerial shots sounds very interesting. I would be very interested to learn more about the possibilities and limittions of this method.

Looking forward to hearing from you,

Christian

I guess that I should have mentioned that I, "TH" for mostly Spanish Mines/caches, Lost Early American Mines and caches.
I also look for anything in the "strange catagory", I.E.
"Death Trap Mnt", Large lost cavern system, in the So. Ca. Mohave Desert, Kokoweef, etc..
I am on to a cave in Eastern AZ., that has several pots (5),  mummified bodies of an Indian & a Mnt Lion, in it !
And! A LARGE! Spanish Silver Cache in So. Az.
That I have been working on for the past FIVE! Yrs, off and on!
I have "pinpointed " the location and as soon as I can get togather a group of "Working Partners"
I will see if all of my past hiking/work has been right!
