I'm kind of excited just hearing that you are going as it's a place I've always wanted to visit. I'd sure keep anything that was quartz like or glassy. I mentioned those trees because my friend's parents were older and I don't know it they'd gone to the trees for shade or what. Doubt they're leafed out enough right now for good shade. Too early for the fruit as that makes them really easy to ID. Trees are sometimes called Osage Orange as the Osage Indians used them for making arrows.

Hi everyone I am back.I don't have much time to report right now, but I wanted to tell you that we did come away with a 41 point brown or dirty white diamond. It was fun and hard work, would go back if I had the chance. I will fill in the details so any one going will have a leg up on the general first time visiter.

I will upload a picture when I get my hands on it. My mom has it so she can show her friends but she lives 100 miles a way and is not computer savvy. My dad and I discussed a return trip next year already. I keep thinking about it.  We had camera problems down there but I think I got a few of the pavilion were we screened for the diamonds. I will up load those as well. Sorry to keep putting of the diamond finding strategy and a description of the park but I am still soooo busy trying to get caught up on business. I promise that i will sit down and get it wrote this weekend
