Excavating in Zamboanga peninsula and found a brownish and dusty sand around five feet in thickness and underneath that brownish sand are hardened thick sand like flooring two layers in between that layers are fine sand. anybody got an idea about this thing?

Yes you have hit 100,000 year old silt layers from when the land was once flooded.

oh thanks, but i hope you can help regarding our excavation, but this layered sand are all over the excavated area and that brownish sand also its only some portion of our excavated area. i'll try to provide you some images so that you can really sea the formation. hoping for your help.

And also last year we excavated here at the same place.. we found 12-13 from the ground level a very thick cement or concrete with a mixture of different kinds of sea shells. I think you wont believe its thickness its around 14-16 feet not inches. and underneath that concrete are clay grey in color when it often touch your skin like your hands or underneath your feet it will really get smooth....
