White's Spectrum XLT

Hello Everyone,
Located this site while searching for other information; looks really informative. I appreciate the work and dedication that went into creating this site, as well as the many articles available. I hope to spend a lot of time on here searching for ideas and answers.  I've had a White's Spectrum XLT for several years, but have only 'fooled' with it periodically.  I moved to western KY this past year and, as I approach retirement, I hope to get much more use out of it.  Obviously, I'm looking to identify some good locations to search in this area. I also have plans for two trips this year, CA and CO, and on the way to CA I hope to spend some time in AZ trying my hand at searching for gold.  Hopefully my XLT is versatile enough to use wherever I go. Thanks again, K

Hi and Welcome to THunting.com!

The XLT is a really good machine. Not as deepseeking as newer generations of detectors but still one of the most versatile ones. It tales a longer learning curve to fully understand it thus, being a very complex machine.

You should have a great time using it and I'm sure it will get you many great finds!

Please keep us posted and happy Detecting

Christian

Howdy K..........
Welcome from Arizona.    There's more than gold to find out here, and your XLT is versatile enough that you should even be able to find a few nuggets with it, although you probably won't pick up flakes with it unless it's a good pocket.
