Go Up Go Down

Hello all,
This is my first visit to this site, second day of being a detector owner. Yesterday I spent 15 minutes in my yard testing the new MXT300. I found allot of aluminum, an actual pull tab that we have been walking over for 18 years, chunk of iron, metal roof piece, bailing wire, conduit clip and even a waterdog was detected in the grass? It must be eating well. I have just been doing a litle research before I head out to find a better place (not so much junk laying around) to find treasures.
I hope to come back with some good stories to share with all the members of this community. Thanks for giving us a place to help encourage, educate, and motivate all.

Hello hooch, good luck with your detector and you'll be finding some nice things - in addition to trash and more trash. Welcome aboard! Sue

howdy, hooch.......welcome to THunting.com

Junk is how you know the detector is still working  Funny  (at least until you master your detector)

You'll find a lot of tips in the previous posts (especially in the beginners sections).  Most of the tips will apply to all detectors, so if one sounds interesting, try it.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
