is anytone can share schematic diagram for fisher LF 960d metal detector?
id this lf 960d fisher metal detector is a good device?
this metal dectector lf960d is not working, it all tones and doestn detect anything, something it works sometimes dosnt make any sound,
im trying to make 14" search coil anyone who can help me to match it with mosfet transsitor?

i just went there for a few days vacation i live in pihilippines, i just happen to be interested in gold hunting, the guy influence i met influence me to buy his old lf960d fisher metal detector, and i think he sold me a deffective detector

Oh, well. Since I have a full test bench here I thought I'd offer some help if you lived nearby.

Advice on your detector is this. Since your problem seems intermittent, check all wires and connectors for corrosion, breaks or looseness. Check your battery connectors. Check the coil wire where it enters the coil and where it enters the box at the connector. Suspect mechanical failure before you suspect electronic failure. Look at your switches, knobs and even the box itself looking for corrosion.

You might not need a schematic. Good luck.

i found 1 broken potentionmeter i dont what is value  of that pot.,  and i also i have a hard time taking of this epoxy in the circuit baord do have any idea to take it off, any schematic there you can share to me

also my friend has an under going digging, known WWII TREASURE somewhere here  in my country, im kinn curiuos if this stone he showed me was that of covering the big rocks telling me it was a carbon, they took off, but they suspect they near the treasure, is that carbon like covering the big stones are usually use for hiding the treasure?

One thing at a time. Stop worrying about stones. They mean nothing at all. Seriously.

Your potetentiometer has numbers on it. What are they? Print all the numbers you can read. Even if they mean nothing. Also, how many connections are on the pot? Can you post a photograph of it here? Even damaged, we might be able to identify it. Once you replace it, you might not need the schematic so just be patient.
