Hi timber wolf - Plenty to read on here to get your treasure hunting spunk fired up. Oklahoma has lots of old treasure tales. Good luck and welcome aboard! Sue in Kansas

Hello from Tulsa. Look around your town or whereever you are for the old houses and get permission to hunt them. And often you'll find the small ones have better finds and more finds. I figure rich people had new clothes and fewer holes in their pockets. My best finds have come from small homes. To find the old houses lok at the foundations. Brick or stone foundations are a sure sign. And the concrete block that are shaped like a stone haven't been used for a long time. Find those old rural churches and schools and you may do well. Ask your farmers if they have any old homes on their places that they would let you hunt. You'll do well this way. Remember to hide your evidence of digging and fill your holes and you'll be welcomed back. After all you never get it all. Have one place that was a church seminary and boys home, small lot, have found something almost every trip there for years.
