Hello Everyone,

javascript:void(0);

   My name is Terry.  I've had a metal detector for a few years, but only used it once, so I decided it was time to learn how to use it properly.  It is a Tesoro Compadre.

  For a long time I thought it was broken, and it has been sitting in my garage unused all this time. Took it out to play around and decided that it is working OK after all. Hope to find some coins or gold in my travels (I have an RV as well).  Anyway, hello to all!

 Terry Carlson

Greetings Terry, from another Compadre lover in Australia. That machine will never do you wrong.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Thanks GoldDigger and homefire for the words of encouragement on my Compadre. I hope to have some finds to share soon.

All the Best!

Hello Terry, I lived in San Rafel back in the mid 60's, that is one great place Marin county. Welcome to the site, you will get plenty of help here if you ask. Good hunting. Bob G.  Detecting

Hello Terry C.....Welcome from Arizona.  Looking to hearing about what you find with that Compadre.   If you've got any questions, you'll probably find the answers in our archives (just use the search function at the top right).  if you can't find the question, open a topic with your question (either about your detector or some phase of "treasure hunting") and someone will answer it.
