Hello Everybody! I'm all pumped up to do some T hunting. I will be heading out via dirt bike with gps and a gold pan into the sooke b.c. hills on vancouver island. I plan to hunt for the legend of the spanish cave where rumour says a hunter/prospector stumbled onto a hand chiseled cave back in the 1950's where he found spanish hand tools and other artifacts. There is alot of info about this cave on the internet and even a form of directions roughly outlining the area. The last man who new about the caves whereabouts died just after he agreed to lead an expedition to the cave, taking with him the memories of the land marks.

Hey! Its possible, at that time in history I cant imagine how they found their way into those parts of the mountains. It is however a place of geological significance being that the leech river runs along a fault line where seismic activity happens maybe this somehow prompted the discovery of the area.
