Origionally from Tucumcari but living in Albuquerque.
I like both red and green.. probably have to say red though
and Lobos.

I'm brand new to this so any help would be greatly appreciated.

Well, from a research standpoint, you've got a goldmine there at UNM in their map library......They've got tons of old maps---some very detailed, especially the Sanborn Fire Insurance maps.....if you're hunting a vacant lot in an older part of Albuquerque or are hunting an old townsite, it helps to know what type of building/business was there before.

I will tell you that there are several buried treasure legends that involve treasures buried in the bosque between Alameda and the airport.   There are a lot of places there in Albuquerque that are well worth hunting and even more with a 2 or 3 hour drive.
