Just joined, I've been detecting now for about a year.  Actually, back in the Jurassic period I detected some with a Garrett S1 American but I took a 30+ year break!  Apparently some long dormant detecting virus has re-appeared!  Grin

I was looking for info on a just purchased Minelab Musketeer Advantage and came across this site.  I also have a very different TID detector, the Fisher F5, so I've got a lot of learning to do!  My 13 yr old son is using a Teknetics Delta 4000.  We like both the F5 and the Delta for the park/schoolyard hunting we've been able to do so far.

Terry

Welcome from a Texan living in Arizona.   You've got some good detectors there.  And it's great to have an eager partner.

Welcome from Utah!

I used to live in the Dallas suburbs area (near Carrolton I think it's called) back in the days when a computer company called EDS used to have it's HQ there in Plano.
It was too flat for my liking, but still wasn't too bad.
I also spent a few weeks in Air Force boot camp many years ago just outside Amarillo. Nice place there.
