Minelab GPX-4500

Hello to you all,
Have been a prospector for past 25 years, beginning with the Garrett Deepseeker progressing through to the present day Minelab GP3500. Come 23rd October will be thinking seriously about upgrading to the new Minelab GPX 4000. A radically new machine that will no doubt be watched very carefully to see how it performs in the highly mineralised WA goldfields.

Hello Nightjar,

welcome aboard and thanks for posting. Now, I am very eager to hear from you a little about your expirience with the GP 3500 please. Because I have been seriously thinking about getting me one to do some more hunting on areas that have allready been heavily hunted in the past.

I haven't heared yet about the GPX 4000. I guess it is also a PI machine. Have you had the chance to try out yet?

and open the thread "How quiet is quiet with the GP 3500" posted by Nightjar, you will be able to see the problems I had initially with my 3500, thankfully Minelab eventually replaced my machine with a new one and this one operates as it should.
