Hello
I'm a new member from Connecticut. I am a retired Tool & Die maker, so I have the time to enjoy my hobbies now. I started detecting a few years ago. I live close
to a couple of beaches, one within walking distance. The past year I've had some illnesses and I had to back off from the detecting. I'm doing fine now and have started hunting again. I use a White's M6, for the sand and a White's PI Pro for the water line. I looking forward to taking part in this forum.
            regards
                  Ed

hello ed, from illinois I just really got into this hobby I am 49 years old. The metal detector I use is my youngest son age 11. I want to get one that shows what you detect. Which brand is good for finding coins and jewelry.

Hi t-bone
I use a White's M6 detector. I feel it is a good mid priced detector. Here is a good company to buy detectors.

For advice you might get more input on other sections of the forum. There are forums here dealing with equipment, and some posters have years of experience. Good luck.and regards
