Fisher F75 and Ace 250
« on: January 11, 2011, 07:24:28 am »
Go Up Go Down

Hi
I'm a Portuguese Detectorist.
I detect since Dec 2009. First I bought a Ace 250 and I found a lot of good things.
16 objects in Gold - rings and ears (18 and 19,8 Kt), a lot of silver rings and some old coins.
Now, 2 days ago, I bought a new metal detector - Fisher F75, settings are a little bit confuse, but I have great plaisir to dug about 70 cm to find a 2 euros coin. Great depth.
Today, I'll go to the beach again, trying to find some more coins and relics.
Could I ask you some advices, about Fisher F75?
Greetings.
ACVV

Welcome from New Mexico!

Sounds like the ACE may have paid for it's self.

Welcome from the Treasure Coast in Florida.  I too am new to beachcombing and have great expectations.  My research on detectors was strictly for beach and damp conditions.  I'll share anything on the Fisher F75 I come across.

Hi ACVV, can't help you with the Fisher as I don't have one, but I thought I would say congratulations on all that you found with the other one and wish you continued success with the new one that has more depth ability. Welcome to the forum. Sue

Today, it was the second time that I went to the beach with the new detector. The sun it was shining on the sky and I decide to detect for 2 hours.
After a hour and half ... i saw on the LCD ... 40 ... 45 ... 40 ... and I decided to dig ... 15 cm's deep ... Wow ... a nice wedding ring (19,2 kt) with 4,9 gr ... in Portugal the most part of rings are 19,2 kt (800)
"Inside" the ring ... a date and a name ... I tried to find in internet any "new" about this wedding ... but nothing.
2 days with the detector ... and 1 gold ring ... not bad ... !!! I'm completely addicted ... I'm Sciences High School Teacher but I'm always thinking about detecting ... I love it!!!  Kiss
