hello all
my name is Walt & i thought i would tell you a bit about me
Ive been detecting for about 36 years & have used almost every detector on the market
at present i use a fisher f70 & a modified golden u max its water proof
over the years Ive found 1000s of coins lots of jewelry  &  100s of gold nuggets
i live in Arizona so i get to nugget hunt of tin
but one of my passions is water hunting  Detecting i hunt the colorado river regularly
glad to be here on the forum

heres the  water mod
i call it my golden otter 
i dont leek  Great
& the headphones are also water proof
ive changed it a bit since these pix went back to the stock 9 x 8 coil i have the clean sweep for sale
 & added a old fisher 1220 shaft

Howdy, Walt.    Welcome to THunting.com.   The pictures of the Golden Otter are great.   Given the price of underwater detectors and how little opportunity us desert dwellers have to use them, this might be the best answer for some of us.
