Its Sunday the 3rd of October and the 2010 Ryder Cup has been rained off today. I'm a returner to the hobby of metal detecting after putting it on the back burner for about 10 years while I eaked out a career. I have now reached the age of 51 and moved to the coast so I have a little more time to explore this fascinating hobby of ours. I recently sold my old Fisher CZ 20 on Ebay and bought myself a new Minelab ExcalII so I'm looking forward to getting into the surf around my area of coast line. I'm keen to explore the link between map and field dowsing and metal detecting so if anyone out there has any experience (good or bad) on this subject, I'd love to hear from you.

When I click on any of the boards drop down menu, I get the German site with the ".de" suffix and all the text is in German, relating to German articles
