I am glad to be a member of the group. I find pleasure in this adventurous hobby. I will be posting soon some of our experience both inland and underwater archeological survey, exploration and excavation and also inland treasure hunting ventures.
Here in our country and particularly in my place, I could safely say that it is real since many whom I know get ot hit the pot in their treasure hunting ventures.

Hi Christian,

In our Underwater Activitites, we are conducting Survey, Exploration and excavation of Sunken Ships with especial focus on Galleons.
Recently, we are excavating a East India Company Ship circa 1722. We have excavated underwater many artifacts i.e. the Ships Bell which has an inscription " VAN TOMAS ANTONIS ZAINT IAAR DEN 24 APRIL 1722 TER GEDACT", many Red Copper Ingots about 250 grams each and Red Copper Blocks about 40 Kilos per block, Wine Bottles, Chinese blue and white wares etc. ( I will be posting images in my future topic)
These artifacts are now deposited in a branch of our Philippine National Museum here in my place for documentaion and eventual auction of our shares in the future.
We are now scheduling another survey/exploration also underwater in a site where some artifacts were found and lifted by local fishermen, six pieces of which if we are not
mistaken are Brown Glazed Chimney pot.
See you in my next post.
