       Hello
     I'm new here
I want to thank you everybody for all the tips and info in the forms here!
I owe an ace 250 picked it up about a year ago  started out slow by mid summer i couldn't wait to get out and start hunting. now I'm just waiting for most of the snow to melt and doing a lot area research for good places to hunt here in Connecticut.
hey anybody new to detecting {I'm sure its been said many times} go buy a pinpointer if you haven't done so already. I think if i hadn't bought one i would have put my detector in the closet and that's where it would have stayed ...

thank you for the welcome everyone!!!!
yes Colin T more info on pinpointers-----
OK now if you do any beach hunting.. i myself when beach hunting i almost never use a pinpointer for the beach you'll need a sand scoop ...that said a pinpointer is a hand held prob type metal detector used to quickly find your Target after you have dug your hole. there are many different brands and prices ....the best thing for you to do is search on youtube for pinpointers check out the different types and how they used... after if you have more questions .i would be more than happy to help you if i can
